Libertarian Party of Wisconsin Begins Candidate Recruitment for 2025 and Beyond

The Libertarian Party of Wisconsin (LPWI) is proud to announce that they are calling on any current member or potential future member with an interest in running for office to contact Party leadership today. If you are a person who values freedom, liberty, personal responsibility, and are feeling rejected by the two "major" parties, the LPWI would like to speak to you.

Since its formation in 1971, the Libertarian Party has stood for limited government as it is envisioned by the Founding Fathers as well as personal liberty and individual freedom. Today, government at all levels is less about what it should be doing and more about what it can give to you. In order to create a true Libertarian country that can benefit all Amercians, we need to elect representatives who are willing to make the tough decisions.

We believe that respect for individual rights is the essential precondition for a free and prosperous world, that force and fraud must be banished from human relationships, and that only through freedom can peace and prosperity be realized.

Consequently, we defend each person’s right to engage in any activity that is peaceful and honest, and welcome the diversity that freedom brings.
