Libertarian Presidential Candidate in Wisconsin Town Hall
A Libertarian Party Presidential candidate, Dr. Charles J. Ballay, will hold a Wisconsin virtual town hall Thursday, May 9th, at 8 PM (CDT), on Zoom. The Libertarian Party of Wisconsin (LPWI) invites all Party members, the press, and the general public to log on to the open session. Dr. Ballay, a medical doctor from Louisiana, and one of many candidates seeking the Libertarian Party nomination, will make his pitch to state delegates heading to the Party’s national convention later in May in Washington, DC.
The LPWI, which had its state convention in Madison in mid-April, will present the eventual nominee selected in Washington, DC, on the state-wide ballot for the November general election. The LPWI achieved ballot access in Wisconsin in 2022.
The Libertarian Party campaigns on the core principles of “do not harm anyone; and do not steal from anybody.” The LPWI believes in maximizing freedom by minimizing government; in supporting free markets, balanced budgets, and fair and equal taxes; and in respecting the rights of others to ensure the rights of all.
