LIBERTARIAN US SENATE CANDIDATE PHIL ANDERSON NOW ACCEPTS CRYPTOCURRENCY DONATIONS

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Date: November 17, 2023 LIBERTARIAN US SENATE CANDIDATE PHIL ANDERSON NOW ACCEPTS CRYPTOCURRENCY DONATIONS Middleton, WI – Phil Anderson, Libertarian candidate for the United States Senate in Wisconsin, is again receiving donations of cryptocurrency. “I embrace new technology, and always have,” says Anderson. “Cryptocurrencies are a way to conduct business without the risk of the government-caused inflation and the devaluation of your dollars.” Anderson’s 2018 Wisconsin gubernatorial campaign accepted donations in Bitcoin, despite confusing WI statutes regarding cryptocurrency donations. The campaign is using EngageRaise, a well-regarded, reliable platform for receiving and reporting donations. "The Wisconsin Legislature never clarified this issue, but that’s not my problem. Candidates from Rand Paul to now Ted Cruz are accepting crypto, and financial institutions, along with the SEC, are getting on board," continues Anderson. “In this case, the people are leading and the government is following. As the federal reserve continues to fail us and devalue the dollar, we won’t be told whether we can trade in crypto and neither should you.” EngageRaise facilitates donations on the Ethereum network only. The campaign plans to add another platform to receive donations in Bitcoin, and other cryptocurrencies in the near future. ### Phil Anderson is a Libertarian Party candidate running for the United States Senate in Wisconsin. His campaign champions the principles of individual freedom, limited government, and personal responsibility as the foundation for a thriving society. LP Dane County Announces Concert and Festival--October 6th & 7th

The Libertarian Party of Dane County would like to announce the sponsorship of The Great Midwest Marijuana Harvest Festival the weekend of October 6th and 7th at the Wisconsin Capitol on the State Street steps. Live music will be provided to assist with the protesting laws of cannabis production, consumption and distribution. 4PM Friday October 6th Internal recording artist Sista Sensi and The Buds will be playing reggae on the State Street steps. Then on Saturday October 7th music will be provided by Elements and Acideon from noon to 2PM on the State Street steps. Bring your protest signs and let the politicians know your right to grow, consume and distribute will NOT be restricted. The government has no interest in people’s ability to grow food, fuel and fiber for their own consumption. The war on cannabis has been a complete failure, resulting a lack of trust between the citizenry and law enforcement. Now politicians are attempting to “cash in” on cannabis using regulations and license laws to control access. Join us in fighting for freedom to cultivate cannabis like our forefathers did for millennia.

"Stand for Peace" Anderson for US Senate--Press Release

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Phil Anderson, Wisconsin's Pro-Peace Candidate for U.S. Senate, Takes a Stand Against the War in Ukraine Middleton, Wisconsin – September 14th, 2023 – As the world watches with concern the situation unfolding in Ukraine, Phil Anderson, Libertarian candidate for the United States Senate from Wisconsin, has emerged as a steadfast advocate for peace and diplomacy. In contrast to the incumbent Senator Tammy Baldwin, Anderson is firmly against the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and advocates for a peaceful resolution to the crisis. His unwavering commitment to ending the war in Ukraine and promoting peaceful solutions is resonating with libertarians and independents, as well as with peace-loving Democrats and Republicans, across the state. "I firmly believe that war is not the answer to our problems," Anderson stated. "It's essential that we prioritize peaceful negotiations and diplomacy to end the crisis in Ukraine. The lives of innocent people are at stake, and we must take every possible step to avoid further suffering." Despite the urgency of the situation, Senator Tammy Baldwin has failed to support meaningful efforts to end the war in Ukraine. Her inaction and unwillingness to take a stand against military intervention, and rubber stamping of a bloated Pentagon budget, have left many questioning her commitment to the values they hold dear. “Every war begins with lies, continues with corruption and profiteering, and ends with death and destruction, mostly of innocent people. This cycle needs to end, and when I’m serving Wisconsin in the US Senate, I’ll do everything humanly possible to end it,” continues Anderson. “We must continue to rally, to make our voices heard, and look for allies in Congress. Unfortunately, Senator Baldwin has not been an ally for peace and transparency.” Phil Anderson's stance against the war in Ukraine aligns with the values of peace-loving Wisconsinites of all political backgrounds. His commitment to ending the conflict through diplomatic means reflects the desire for a more peaceful and just world. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Wisconsin Libertarians Get Hands Dirty to “Clean Up” Wisconsin

(Madison, WI)—Libertarian Party members for years have acted to not just clean up the public policy of the state, but the environment as well. Libertarians are not just proud of their ideals, but they are proud of their communities and the natural beauty of Wisconsin. Routinely, members of the LPWI, joined by their friends and other well-meaning participants, host events that clean roads and rivers of trash. These events represent an important aspect of Libertarian ideals: They take direct action to ensure the needs of their communities are met and do not rely on the oft-empty promises of politicians.

One notable initiative has just finished its fifth annual outing to clean up stretches of Wisconsin’s Kickapoo River. Libertarian Party of Dane County member Chris Nass used his family’s tradition of cleaning that river to inspire others to join him, as they did this July. Camping overnight, a group of Libertarians and Nass, along with others, floated down the Kickapoo for the day in kayaks and a drift boat, collecting refuse and debris, including landing a mud-caked vehicle tire out of the waters.

With no need for government funding or an exhaustive organizational impact statement, the river cleanup did the work and built fellowship, and serves as an example of how libertarianism works in practice.

In another initiative this year, the LP Dane County cleans up a 3.2 mile section of US Hwy 19, around the unincorporated settlement of Token Creek. One of the party clean up crew from Middleton, WI, Phil Anderson, a Libertarian Party candidate for US Senate in 2024, said, “ This sort of direct action is what libertarianism is all about.”

Libertarians Say: “Enough of this Nonsense”

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Libertarians Say: “Enough of this Nonsense”

Ubet, WI—“If the ruling class can’t start bringing the country together, to unite and solve the real problems, then the United States will become the prey to the predators of the world,” said the Libertarian Party of Wisconsin (LPWI) Press Office in a recent statement. “To those who always keep dividing and weakening us, and destroying us, the people everywhere need to say ENOUGH of this nonsense. Citizens must consider alternative leadership .”

The statement continued: “The ruling class, using the Democrats and Republicans in office, manipulate this turmoil they’ve created to stay in power. They use otherwise solvable problems to keep people afraid, angry, and resentful by NOT solving any of them. The division and hate created leaves this nation and our state weaker and ever more vulnerable.”

By contrast, the Libertarian Party of Wisconsin, said the Press Office, seeks to bring fiscal and ethical balance back in to its proper role in national and state policy. With a dangerous world entering new Great Power conflicts, and a looming financial disaster with the national debt and a banking crisis, Libertarians see their principles—such as non-aggressive foreign policies and sound, gold-backed money—as two pillars of needed reform. With the ideal goal of a world living in peace and prosperity, the LPWI has a specific platform dedicated to achieving these ends in Wisconsin.

“Obviously, we want Liberty and Freedom everywhere for everyone. But first, we need to start addressing it in our own neighborhoods. It grows from there, but we need people to join in and help us do it,” the Libertarian statement concluded.
